Robin has over sixteen years of experience in Bodywork and twenty-seven years within the Holistic Health realm. Her general approach to life and her life’s’ work are passionate, authentic, empathic, mindful, compassionate and secure in nature.
“Love what you do and do what you Love.” Robin considers herself fortunate to be connected to and surrounded by the responsive rhythm of nature. Robin’s passionate nature lends a hand to that peeking “mischievous frolicking fairy within” which ushers in the ultimate edge and guidance used in facilitating instruction of workshop courses and the inspiration in which creations emerge for Cosmic Essential oils. Robin’s relaxed and peaceful manner creates an ease and freedom for clients to relax during bodywork and consultation sessions. Robin supports others in personal empowerment and the intrinsic insight of remembering our authentic self. |

Robin graduated from the Harold J. Reilly School of Massage Therapy at the Edgar Cayce Foundation in 1994 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Her studies and background have included:
Robin is self taught in many wellness and alternative holistic therapies based on various clients’ needs since the early 80's due to her sincere desire to assist clients’ seeking ultimate well-being and balance on all levels of being. Robin’s love, passion and inquisitive nature within alternative medicine and the tree, plant and flower realm has provided many gifts along this life’s journey, for both clients and herself. Robin is in the process of writing a book which will feature essential oils and their medicinal properties, carrier oils and their medicinal properties, salve recipes, how to make infusions for salve making, cleanses for the body, healthy recipes, nutritional information and a bit more. Robin hopes to be finished by spring of 2010. From the very beginning this book has been approached from an organic stand-point, which is to say the title of the book has yet to reveal itself (?) Needless to say, she is sure you will find it “Inherently Essential!” Seed – Gestation - Emerge! A resource and reference for healing the body, mind, heart, and spirit . . . through nature! "With intention, knowledge and prayerful connection Happy Head was born, " says founder, Robin Michaels. "I had helped my son get relief from the migraines through diet and other holistic avenues but something was still amiss so I created a medicinal essential oil blend to assist in his process. Both he and I were happily amazed at the effect of this blend." Michaels, a holistic health practitioner, started using Happy head essential oil blend below the table while massage clients were face down on the massage table to help keep the sinuses open. The word spread. Michaels found herself making the blend for family, friends, clients and getting great feedback. A friend and client suggested she begin making it for others because it was so helpful. Thus, Cosmic Essential Oils was started as a business in August of 2004.
